1. Stake.com review
Stake.com has been around for several years but has recently introduced a sports betting section that might give their competitors a run for their money. They are a crypto-only casino but are regulated by the Curacao Gaming Control Board and one of the biggest perks is that you can sign up in minutes, with only your email address.
Their tagline is ‘Play smarter’ and this is clearly seen in the navigation of their site. It is seamless, navigates like a charm and has a practical layout. Let’s fire up the engines and take a look at what they are all about.
Here are some screenshots and information about the games I tested on Stake.com.
All games are very simple to play and there are good instructions. It is also nice that the house edges are very clearly informed, which is not the case in all casinos.

2. Navigation and layout
At first glance, the site seems to be very organized. On the home page, you are met with a large banner that displays ‘casino’ and ‘sports’. If you scroll down you will see a live feed that shows the game, the user, time, bet, multiplier and payout of either the casino section or sports. There is also a live display for races that shows the user, the amount wagered and the prize.
At the bottom of the home page you will find the promotions and on the left is a menu tab. What I did find really worrying is that crucial information is incredibly hard to find. They do have a terms of service page but it doesn’t really give you a lot of information. They seem to focus more on legal jargon than anything else.
If you click on the casino tab, you can narrow your search down to stake originals, stake exclusives, slots, live casino, game shows, new releases, feature buy-in, table games, blackjack, baccarat, roulette or virtual games.
The sports section is jam-packed with choices and the layout is seamless. There is so much information and stats that it is actually quite intimidating. I really like the fact that you can follow the live stats of a game in a smaller window on your screen while navigating through the site. I also find it impressive that they have an impeccable sports section as well as a decent casino because I often find that the casino section lags if a site focuses more on the sports betting section and vice versa.

At the time of writing this review they offered 8 casino promotions, a stake community promotion, a telegram promotion, stake races, VIP challenges and scratch card promotions. Plus, they also recently ran a $100,000 weekly giveaway.
And, there’s more.
On the sports betting side, they regularly add promotions for specific events. Examples of this are the $10k Dogecoin Drop promotion, a Euros & Copa America Early Goal Payout, an MLB 9th Innings Payout and a Euro Bundle promotion. They seem to come up with new innovative ideas constantly so you need to keep an eye on this and check regularly.
Stake also has a VIP program which is quite conventional – the usual bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond theme. As you level up through the program your bonuses and benefits will increase but it is important to note that they are tied to wagering requirements.
Because the promotions aren’t stock standard and mostly partnered with game providers, there is no point in going into the nitty-gritty of every one of them but it is worth checking in on their site to see what they are currently offering.
4. Casino games
Stake.com has partnered with some of the big guns in the industry and offers a massive variety of games (over 1000). They accept only cryptocurrencies and although this seems like a novel way of betting, some players often ask how wagering on crypto games work. The answer? Exactly the same. Nothing changes except that you bet in crypto instead of fiats such as Euros or US Dollars.
What I find interesting is that Stake develops games of their own, all of which are provably fair. There are around 16 to choose from ranging from a cheeky game of Baccarat to an exhilarating game of Crash.
As always, slots take up the most space in the gaming library with more than 900 to choose from. So, in terms of variety, there are plenty of excellent options. They are well categorized and descriptively named and if you don’t get what you are looking for, you can search for it in the search bar.
The themes of their slots are diverse but there is one thing that they all have in common – fantastic graphics and great sound effects, from outstanding providers.
Stake does offer jackpot games but for some reason, it isn’t strongly featured on their site. There isn’t even a section for these popular games which I find quite strange. At first, I thought it was because they didn’t offer them but they do. Any which way, if it is a juicy jackpot game you are after, they’ve got you covered.
Stake has around 75 table games and is offered in many shapes and colours. They have 12 blackjack games, 7 baccarat games, 24 roulette games and 10 poker games among others.
I need to give Stake some credit for going the extra mile by developing their very own casino games. And, the best part is that they are all provably fair. Their homegrown versions are also quite uniquely named with un-unique names such as Dice, Roulette, Keno, Roulette, Blackjack, Video Poker and Baccarat (yes, that’s their actual names). In addition to these classics, there are a handful of other games that are also worth exploring such as Slide, Mines, Wheel, Hilo and Plinko.
So, Kudos to Stake!
Live Casino and Game Shows
There are 45 live casino games and 17 game shows, all provided by Evolution Gaming. The live casino features the classics such as Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette Craps Poker while the game shows are more creative and innovative.
Stake comes from the team at Primedice, one of the most established and trusted sites in the crypto space. They only recently added a sportsbook to their site and when this usually happens, it feels like a squeezed in afterthought. The truth is, it’s not.
They offer an impressive portfolio of sporting events, divided into 35 categories and they have the smallest minimum bet in the sports betting industry – 100 satoshis, around $0.04.
The odds are quite competitive and of decent value and like always, the live odds have significantly more overround built into them than the pre-live odds. The obscure markets and minor sports have a notably bigger edge while the NFL odds seem to be very competitive.
Their range of bet types is impressively huge with over 100 different markets in big soccer leagues. I am also quite impressed by the live betting feature. The scoreboard is clear and detailed, the real-time odds changes and there are falling and rising odds indicators.
5. Banking Options
Almost all casino and sportsbook sites have a payments tab somewhere at the bottom of the site that displays all the details regarding payments and withdrawals. The same can’t be said with Stake. I found absolutely nothing except for a banner on the homepage with their supported currencies – Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ripple (XRP), Tron (TRX), EOS.
I found no information on minimum withdrawal fees or minimum deposit amounts so I emailed the support team. Turns out they do not have any deposit requirements except for ETH which is 0.003ETH which is pretty cool.
You can also buy crypto with fiat on their site through a third party (MoonPay) but it comes with a price tag. The lack of information genuinely annoys me. I know it is a common issue with crypto casinos but they can at least cover the bare basics such as limits, fees, restrictions, and other super crucial information.
It seems that they just don’t care. You can email the helpdesk if you have a question but that is just a waste of time and incredibly frustrating.
Update: While I was ransacking the site at the end of writing this article, I found the minimum withdrawals on the FAQ section, hiding behind a link that opened a new link that opened another new link (Urgh):
- For BTC: 0.001 BTC (fee is 0.00025 BTC)
- For LTC: 0.1 LTC (fee is 0.0005 LTC)
- For ETH: 0.03 ETH (fee is 0.008 ETH)
- For BCH: 0.025 BCH (fee is 0.00001 BCH)
- For DOGE: 1000 DOGE (fee is 1.5 DOGE)
- For XRP: 40 XRP (fee is 0.0001 XRP)
- For TRX: 400 TRX (fee is 1 TRX)
- For EOS: 4 EOS (fee is 0.1 EOS)
6. Customer Service
On the site, there is a live chat option but when I first took it for a test, it was in fact, a FAQ section. There was no possible way of getting through to a real person or even a bot. When I asked a question, I was simply blasted with the FAQ results, which truly wasn’t that good either.
Once I registered, the live chat option was available. I must admit, the service was great but you might have a few questions before signing up. Everything just seems to feel like a game of hide and seek.
I also found no email address but after combing the internet, I stumbled upon firstname.lastname@example.org. I must admit my questions were answered in minutes but what is the point if it is not visible on their site.
I later went back to the site, scouring it thoroughly and discovered a customer support link somewhere in the FAQ section that led me to a request form. So, they have this option too but boy is it hard to find.
7. Mobile compatibility
The site is fully mobile responsive and it is clear that mobile compatibility was kept in mind when they developed their site. In actual fact, the mobile site looks a bit better and is even slightly more user friendly than the desktop version.
Everything checked in when I played around and you have the same functionalities including banking, mobile betting, collecting bonuses and so on. They don’t have an app but for me, this adds to the convenience of mobile betting. You simply open the browser on your smartphone or tablet, log in and you are good to go.
Stake might be one of the better crypto casino options for several reasons. They are licensed for one and they offer a very decent collection of games. Their sports betting section is equally adequate and they offer great customer support (if you can find the email address and relevant pages).
They don’t have a welcome bonus or first deposit bonus but you need to remember that these bonuses are tied to pesky wagering requirements anyway so this doesn’t bother me. To make up for this they constantly offer new innovative promotions by teaming up with their impressive list of gaming providers.
The one thing that gets my slacks in a swivel is that there is not a lot of crucial information on their site. They just don’t seem to bother and are very cloak and dagger about things. It is a pity though because I quite like them. Are they worth a shot? I believe so.
How do I open an account?
One of the biggest perks of Stake.com is that you don’t need to supply a lot of information to open an account. You simply choose a username, email address and date of birth. They will send you a confirmation email and once you verify, you are good to go. When you want to make a withdrawal however, you will need to supply them with your personal details.
Is Stake.com Legit?
They are licensed by the Curacao Gaming Control Board so they need to adhere to stringent regulations to protect their players. So, yes, Stake is 100% legit./span>

How do I make my first deposit?
In order to make your first deposit, you will first need to retrieve your deposit address. This is found by clicking on the wallet tab at the top of the home page. Once you have clicked on the wallet tab, you will be able to choose your preferred currency and your address will be clearly visible. You will need to use this address as the ‘send to’ location on your crypto wallet exchange.
