Best Crypto Casinos in Canada (2026): Bitcoin Casinos That Accept Canadians

Where in Canada do you live?

For most of the country, that question barely matters when playing at a crypto casino. But Ontario is the one province that changes the answer, because it runs its own licensed market, and those licensed sites don’t take crypto.

So every pick below says plainly whether it takes Ontario sign-ups.

Why trust us?

We’ve tested hundreds of crypto casinos to bring you only the safest, most rewarding options — with honest reviews, verified bonuses, and no BS.

Thankfully, the law is gentler than you might expect. Canada leaves gambling to the provinces, and the rules target the businesses, not you. I’ve laid out the country-by-country answer on whether Bitcoin gambling is legal on its own page, so this one stays on where to play.

Canadians and Finns have more in common than hockey, by the way. We both call minus 20 “a bit fresh” and still go out without a hat. We both love a strong cup of coffee in the morning. And we’ll both happily dig through a casino’s terms to find the best no-deposit bonuses available.

Best Bitcoin Casinos in Canada by What You Need

Best Bitcoin Casino in Canada – BitStarz

bitstarz quick deposit screen in cad with the exclusive 152% bonus switched on

BitStarz

No deposit Exclusive
BCK100FREE
100 no deposit free spins

BitStarz has run its crypto casino since 2014, and it’s still the one I’d open first from Canada. Most withdrawals land within the hour, and there’s no daily, weekly, or monthly cap on cashing out. More than 7,000 games sit in the lobby.

BitStarz doesn’t list Ontario or any other province in its restricted countries. I read the terms looking for an Ontario line, and the only Canada rule I found was about games. Canadians can’t play NYX titles there, and two branded slots are also switched off.

Deposits start at $10 in crypto or $20 in fiat. And you’ll need $50 in your balance before a withdrawal goes through.

That’s steep next to mBit, so I’d keep small balances somewhere else.

Fastest Crypto Withdrawals in Canada – mBit

mbit casino lobby on mobile with the new games and halloween rows

mBit

First deposit Exclusive
175% up to 2 BTC + 300 free spins

mBit lets you cash out from as little as $10, and that low floor pairs with real speed. Most crypto withdrawals clear in under 15 minutes. You can cash out and see it in your wallet before the kettle boils.

mBit leaves Ontario off its restricted list too. Its terms carry the same games note as BitStarz, with NYX titles off for Canada. But the floor depends on the coin. On my XRP account, the withdrawal screen starts at 25 XRP and shows no fee.

But there’s one limit that bites.

mBit caps withdrawals at 3 BTC a week and 10 BTC a month. Most of us will never hit that, but a big jackpot would pay out in weekly slices.

Best Ethereum Casino in Canada – TrustDice

trustdice fiat deposit screen in cad with interac listed as instant and no fee

TrustDice

No deposit Exclusive
FS202602011623
40 no deposit free spins

TrustDice accepts more than 140 cryptocurrencies, Ethereum included, so ETH works both ways. You can sign up with just an email, and there’s no daily or weekly withdrawal cap.

The monthly limit sits at 1,000,000 USDT.

TrustDice doesn’t restrict Ontario, and its cashier takes CAD as well as crypto. ETH deposits run on ERC-20 only, and they credit after 10 confirmations. I still check the network before I copy the address, because the wrong one can lose the deposit.

A withdrawal that needs manual approval can take up to 48 hours, the slowest on this page. And the minimum cash-out is 30 USDT, so small balances stay put.

Crypto Casino Bonus in CAD – Bitcasino.io

bitcasino.io welcome bonus table with cad listed as a bonus currency

Bitcasino

First deposit
100% up to $1,500

Bitcasino.io runs its welcome bonus in CAD as well as crypto, alongside USDT, BTC, ETH, and TRX. Your first deposit gets a 100% match up to 2,000 CAD, plus two more deposit bonuses.

I nearly missed this one. I logged into my old account, and the offer doesn’t show because it’s built for new sign-ups.

Canada isn’t on its restricted list, so Ontario sign-ups are fine. Most withdrawals are processed within a few minutes, and the minimum cash-out is 20 USDT.

You’ll need at least 69 CAD in a single deposit, and the match carries 30x wagering inside 7 days. Your deposit stays locked until you finish, and the max bet is 6 CAD.

And live dealer and table games only count 10%, so I’d clear it on slots.

Wager-Free Crypto Rewards in Canada – Cashy

cashy diamond vip tier showing 18% weekly cashback with no wagering

Cashy

First deposit Exclusive
200% up to $3,000

Cashy’s weekly cashback climbs to 18% at the top VIP levels, and it pays as cash. Every reward comes with zero wagering. For a regular who’d rather keep money than chase a playthrough, that’s the pitch.

Cashy takes Ontario sign-ups too. The same company runs BitStarz, and the terms read almost word for word, including the NYX note.

And Cashy’s Fun Play toggle opens live tables in demo, so my first look cost nothing.

Any earnings expire after 7 days. Weekly cashback also only starts at VIP level 10, so it takes a while to reach.

Crypto Casino Bonuses in Canadian Dollars

Most crypto casino bonuses in Canada are quoted in BTC or USD, not CAD. That means you need to convert it before you know what an offer is truly worth.

Let me break it down.

So do the CAD math on the back of a receipt before you claim anything. If the wagering total makes you wince, skip the bonus and keep your deposit clean. Plenty of the no wager bonuses where a Canadian deposit stays your money skip the playthrough entirely.

These are the BCK offers I’d look at first:

Bets.io

3.9/5

Of the three listed here, I’d recommend starting with Bets.io. Its terms don’t restrict Ontario, and the BCK code lifts its match well above the standard offer.

That BitStarz offer is the one I’d claim first from Canada. It’s the biggest match on this page, and it comes from my top pick.

Canadian Crypto Casinos Compared

All five of my picks accept sign-ups from Ontario. I have read through every Ontario cell off the casino’s own terms.

Ontario Status and Payout Speed (terms read October 2026)

CasinoTakes Ontario?Withdrawal speed
BitStarzYesMost within the hour
mBitYesMost under 15 minutes
TrustDiceYesUp to 48 hours
Bitcasino.ioYesMost in minutes
CashyYesOver 90% instant

If you’re in Ontario, start with the rows marked “Yes”. I’d pick mBit for speed and BitStarz for everything else.

Is Crypto Gambling Legal in Canada?

Crypto gambling sits in a gray zone in Canada, but the law points at businesses, not the people placing bets.

Canada’s Criminal Code leaves gambling to the provinces, and they license or run the sites themselves. Enforcement has focused on unlicensed operators, though that doesn’t guarantee immunity.

Ontario: a Regulated Market That Doesn’t Take Crypto

Ontario licenses private operators through iGaming Ontario, with the AGCO as the regulator. The AGCO’s standards for licensed sites say they can’t accept crypto.

So a Canadian who wants to play with Bitcoin ends up at a crypto casino licensed somewhere else.

Some of those casinos block Ontario; others don’t. None of my five picks list Ontario in their restricted countries. At BitStarz, mBit, and Cashy, the only Canada note covers NYX games.

That’s why the table above has an Ontario column. Check the restricted list in the terms before you deposit, every time.

Alberta, Quebec, BC, and the Other Provinces

Alberta

Alberta opened its regulated online market to private operators on July 13, 2026, alongside PlayAlberta. The AGLC regulates it, and PlayAlberta itself is a CAD site.

Quebec

Loto-Québec runs the province’s own online casino. It’s a government site, and it takes CAD, not crypto.

British Columbia

PlayNow is BC’s provincial site, run by the BCLC. Same story: a CAD account, with no crypto cashier.

The other provinces follow a similar model. None of the provincial sites are built for crypto, and that’s the gap the casinos above fill.

Curaçao, Anjouan, and Kahnawake Licenses

Curaçao

Plenty of crypto casinos hold a Curaçao license. BitStarz and Cashy both name the Curaçao Gaming Authority in their terms.

Anjouan

Anjouan is part of the Comoros, and more and more crypto casinos carry its license. Bitcasino.io’s terms name an Anjouan license.

Kahnawake

This one sits inside Canada, in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke, Quebec. Its Gaming Commission has licensed online casinos since 1999.

I check the license and the restricted list in the terms before every first deposit. A license tells you who to complain to, and that matters more than any footer badge.

Best Cryptocurrencies to Gamble With in Canada

The coin you pick determines your fees and wait time, not whether you can play. These four are the ones I look for first in a cashier.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin is the default, and every cashier lists it. But fees jump when the network’s busy, and deposits may need a few confirmations.

Ethereum

Ethereum moves faster than Bitcoin, though fees still rise at busy times. If ETH is your coin, you can deposit quickly and find it in a cashier. I’ve rounded up more Ethereum casinos for Canadians who’d rather play in ETH than this page has room for.

Tether (USDT)

USDT holds its dollar value, so your balance doesn’t drift while you play. That’s handy if price swings bother you. I keep a list of Tether casinos that keep your balance pegged to a dollar. Just remember it tracks the US dollar, not the Canadian one.

Litecoin

I call Litecoin the dad of crypto. It’s old, cheap to send, and fast enough that you’ll rarely wait.

How to Deposit and Withdraw Crypto in Canada

Buying Crypto With CAD

The trip starts and ends in Canadian dollars. You fund a Canada-registered crypto platform via Interac e-Transfer or bank transfer. Then you buy your coin and move it to a wallet you control. Only then does it go to a casino, and cashing out reverses the trip.

Check your platform’s terms and your bank’s before you send anything.

Some won’t move funds to a gambling site. I never send straight from an exchange to a casino, because my own wallet in the middle keeps the platform out of it.

Depositing at a Crypto Casino

Step 1

Open the cashier and pick your coin and network.

Step 2

Copy the deposit address.

Step 3

Check the minimum deposit shown next to it.

Step 4

Send from your wallet and wait for the confirmations.

Withdrawing and Converting Back to CAD

Step 1

Check that your balance clears the minimum withdrawal.

Step 2

Paste your own wallet address for the same coin and network.

Step 3

Confirm and wait for any first-withdrawal check.

Step 4

Sell on your Canadian platform and withdraw the CAD to your bank.

What About Interac?

Most crypto casinos don’t take Interac directly, so Interac belongs at the platform step. It’s how you get CAD onto a crypto platform, not into the casino.

TrustDice and BitStarz are the exceptions among my picks.

Switch either cashier to CAD, and Interac shows up as a deposit option. TrustDice lists it as instant with no fee, while mBit, Bitcasino.io, and Cashy don’t list it at all.

If a crypto casino pushes Interac hard, read its payment terms twice. I’d want to know who’s actually processing that money.

Withdrawal Speed, KYC, and Payout Limits

How fast crypto withdrawals clear

The coin moves in minutes, so the casino’s own checks set the real pace. On this page, payout speed runs from mBit’s 15 minutes to TrustDice’s 48 hours. If speed matters most, the fast withdrawal casinos that pay Canadians the same day are worth a look.

When KYC kicks in

KYC, or ID checks, often comes up at your first big withdrawal rather than at sign-up. A casino that never asked for ID can still ask before it pays. There are also no KYC crypto casinos for Canadians who’d rather skip the paperwork, though most still keep a threshold.

Daily, weekly, and monthly caps

Caps decide how fast a big win reaches you. mBit caps withdrawals at 3 BTC a week, while BitStarz has no cap.

Withdrawal fees and slow support are my two red flags. I’d walk away from a casino that hides either one.

Do You Pay Tax on Crypto Casino Winnings in Canada?

Usually not on the gambling side. Canadian tax guidance generally treats recreational gambling winnings as windfalls, so they aren’t taxed.

Professional gamblers are a different case. Tax can show up on the crypto side.

The CRA treats selling crypto for CAD, swapping it for another coin, or spending it as a disposition. That can create a capital gain or loss, and half of a capital gain is taxable. Moving coins between your own wallets isn’t a disposition.

So I log the CAD value of every deposit and cash-out on the day it happens. The CRA expects you to keep those records, and rebuilding them later is painful.

How I Pick Crypto Casinos for Canada

where to find the canada, cad, fee, bonus and license checks on a crypto casino site

Canada in the terms

I read the restricted list first. If Canada’s on it, nothing else matters.

A clear Ontario line

I note whether Ontario is restricted, because more than a third of Canadians live there.

CAD shown or easy to work out

A cashier that shows CAD, or a bonus I can convert in my head, saves me a calculator.

Payout speed

I want most withdrawals back the same day.

Withdrawal fees

A fee on every cash-out is one of my two red flags. It’s the first number I look for on a withdrawal screen.

Bonus terms I can read

Wagering, max bet, and game weighting have to be in plain sight.

A license I can check

The seal should open the regulator’s own page, not one on the casino’s domain.

Responsible Gambling Help in Canada

Every province has free, confidential help. These lines are open to anyone worried about their gambling:

  • Ontario: ConnexOntario, 1-866-531-2600, open 24 hours
  • Alberta: Alberta Addiction Helpline, 1-866-332-2322, open 24 hours
  • British Columbia: Gambling Support BC, 1-888-795-6111, open 24 hours
  • Quebec: Jeu : aide et référence, 1-800-461-0140
  • At the casino: deposit, loss, and time limits, plus self-exclusion

Set your limits before your first deposit, not after a bad night. I keep mine boring on purpose, and my guide to responsible gambling limits walks through each tool you should set before a Canadian deposit.

Crypto Casino Canada FAQ

The best crypto casino in Canada accepts your province, pays out fast, and clearly explains its terms. The picks at the top of this page are ranked on exactly that. Check the Ontario column if you live there.
Canadians can generally use crypto casinos licensed outside Canada because the law targets operators, not bettors. The provinces run or license their own sites, which are built around Canadian dollars. It’s still worth reading each casino’s terms for your province.
Yes, at a crypto casino that doesn’t list Ontario in its restricted countries. Ontario-licensed sites don’t take crypto, so some crypto casinos block the province while others accept it. The restricted list in the terms tells you which.
Recreational gambling winnings generally aren’t taxed in Canada. Selling or swapping the crypto can still create a capital gain or loss for the CRA. Keep a record of the CAD value every time you deposit or cash out.
Most crypto casinos don’t take Interac directly. Canadians usually use Interac to fund a crypto platform, buy coins there, and then send them to the casino. Cashing out works the same way in reverse.
Most crypto casinos keep your balance in crypto or US dollars, though a few show or accept CAD. If a casino quotes bonuses in BTC or USD, convert them before you claim. The rate can move while you play.
Many crypto casinos let you sign up with just an email, but most ask for ID at some point. The usual trigger is a first withdrawal or a large one. Having your documents ready saves a delay.
Crypto withdrawals often arrive within minutes to a few hours once the casino approves them. A first withdrawal or a manual review can take longer. The coin and network you choose also affect the wait time.
