Casino games – whether it is slots, table games, live dealer games, or jackpot games, there are thousands of them out there, developed by hundreds of respected game developers.
And, they are undoubtedly the most precious component of any crypto casino, because these games we enjoy playing so often, are ultimately the backbone of any casino we visit.
While the casino provides us with the platform to play, the software developers are essentially responsible for the design, animations, sound, 2D artwork, 3D modeling, game UI/UX, testing, and programming, all the way through to the upshot of the games.
But, here’s something you might not have known… Crypto Casinos have begun to develop their very own games, eliminating the software providers, and essentially giving players the opportunity to play these original games at the respective crypto casinos exclusively.
Why is this such a big deal?
Because crypto casinos have a close relationship with their players and get a lot of feedback and suggestions. And, because they value these opinions, I’m sure you’ll agree that they have a pretty good idea of what their devoted players like and/or dislike, giving them the obvious upper hand to deliver games with player gratification in mind.
It’s a brilliant concept that is however still fairly new, and there are only a handful of casinos that have dared to take on this valiant challenge.
So, without further adieu, here are my top crypto casinos that make their very own games.
1. BitDice.me
Dungeons
Dungeons from BitDice.me is quite unique compared to other in-house-made games in many ways. The graphics and theme are quite exceptional and you kind of feel like your Indiana Jones, on an exploration to get the absolute treasure at the end of your crusade.
In the game, there is a pathway with 3 x 8 tiles, and the object of the game is to get to the trophy on the other side by selecting 1 of 3 tiles over 8 rounds.
If you choose the correct tile, you move to the next row, multiplying your wins, but if you choose the incorrect tile, you fall into the dungeon and die.
You can however cash out at any stage of the game, and you can also choose between easy, normal, and hard modes, obviously the harder the mode, the more lucrative the possible wins.
Snatch
In Snatch, a bank robber victoriously makes it to an airplane to take off, narrowly escaping being caught. The plane then takes off with cop vans shooting at the plane from the runway and you need to decide when the plane will explode.
You have 5 seconds to make a bet while the round is preparing and you can also make a bet for the next round while the current round is running. When the plane takes off, the multiplier increases and you have the choice to decide when the robber jumps out with his bag of cash. If the robber is still on board when the plane explodes, you, unfortunately, lose your bet.
BitDice also has other originals like Blackjack, Snatch, Dungeon, Pirate Plinko, Bit Ace, and Dice.
2. BC.GAME
Coin Flip
We’ve all tossed a coin, at some stage, to see if it landed on heads or tails. And, this provably fair game is based on the same concept.
Both heads and tails have exactly the same odds but what makes this game different is that your winning potential is unlimited because you can if you land on a winning bet, you can continue flipping the coin until your bet results in losing.
You can also cash out at any time, to pocket your winnings, and the minimum and maximum bets are 0.00000010 BTC – 0.00057807 BTC.
Saviour Sword
Saviour Sword is an incredibly basic 5-reel, 1-row crypto video slot featuring a Lucky Spin and Bonus Respin that give you the chance to multiply your wins or to win more respins.
You can win up to $23,228.20 in BTC if you play maximum bets ($929.13), and like all the provably fair games on my list, you’re able to check the fairness of the game.
It’s worth a mention that BC.GAME has its own currency – BCD – and there are various ways to earn it. I happened to have 0.0005 BCD in my wallet, so I decided to use this currency to test the games.
There is a wheel at the top and if you land a winning combination, it is multiplied by the number on the wheel. The graphics are really good but there is not much info about the symbols. What I could gather from playing is that your main aim is to land three symbols, puzzling together a sword.
You’ll find 23 more BC.GAME originals in their ever-growing library, which, is quite impressive.
3. STAKE.COM
Stake has 18 originals including all the usuals like Dice, Plinko, Mines, Crash, Blackjack, Limbo, Hilo, Keno, Wheel, Roulette, Diamonds, Video Poker and Baccarat.
The games seem pretty basic with no fancy graphics or artwork but they do have a couple of slot-inspired originals that are true to the Stake.com flavor.
MINES
Mines is most probably the one game you’ll find at all provably fair casinos so I wanted to see what Stake made of this all-time favorite.
And, to be honest, the game is painfully simple with nothing eye-catching or exciting. You need to place your bet and choose the number of mines and although I’m well aware of the more mines, the more possible winnings rule, I couldn’t find any payout info before I placed my bet.
But, let’s give it a shot.
4. BitStarz
BitStarz has only 7 originals but in true BitStarz style, there is a bit of everything including Plinko, BlackJack, Wheel, Limbo, Dice, and Crash.
I decided to try out Dice….
DICE
As in all Dice games, you need to bet on over or under a specified number and you can change the odds, which makes your chances of guessing correctly less or more likely which will in change make the multiplier higher or lower.
In BitStarz’s Original Dice, the outcomes are between 0 – 100. If you select roll over 3, for example, the multiplier will be 1,01 and if you select roll over 98, the multiplier is x49.
It can be quite profitable because the max win is 4.25 BTC if you select the max bet (0.85 BTC).
BitStarz also recently launched Crash and compared to its peers, like TrustDice for example, I’m really impressed with the BitStarz addition.
Watch This Space
In-house-developed games are still hot off the fire and I’m really excited to see what crypto casinos will release next because when it comes to provably fair games, the possibilities are endless.
I’d like to see more games like the Russian Roulette-inspired game Thirteen from Steady Games, that I stumbled upon while playing at FortuneJack Casino recently.
But, considering the innovation, creativity, and cutting-edge technology crypto casinos are currently bringing forward, I’m 100% convinced that we’ll soon see in-house games that’ll blow our minds beyond our wildest expectations.
And, I can’t wait!
