The combination of green meadows, Leprechauns, rainbows and cash have been a successful recipe for a long time and Playtech has done it once again. Even though there are 4 Jackpots in play, it’s like they don’t exist because the focus is on other, more prominent features like Cash Collect and Pot of Gold.

Man, sometimes disappointment just slaps you across the face out of nowhere. I truly enjoyed Leprechaun’s Luck Cash Collect Megaways so I expected to have the same feeling about Kraken Spins, released just a month earlier. Wow, was I wrong.

What a let down and playing Kraken Spins feels like going back to the 90’s arcades. Bad graphics but even worse sound effects.

Wild Respins

One of the few somewhat enjoyable moments was when the ship symbol opens fire at the gold coins. Known as the Wild Respins feature, 

Depending on the number of coins, you will get the same number of Wild Respins. It plays out similar to a Hold & Spin feature, where the goal is to keep landing treasure chests in order to keep on spinning.

Collect as many as possible to keep on spinning

There are a couple of other features like the Doors and Kraken Spins but it feels like no matter what features were in play, nothing could make me want to play Kraken Spins again.

For a reputable provider like Playtech, this is a horrible game so save your time and your money for basically ANY other slot.

In Fire Blaze: Blue Wizard PowerPlay Jackpot, you’ll be dropped smack in the middle of it and at first encounter it feels exciting. Unfortunately the excitement will leave you a lot sooner than you’d like. At least that was my experience.

In terms of graphics, it’s fine but the annoying arcade sound effect cheapens it.

Then there’s the Fire Blaze Respins. You’ll need 6-15 crystal balls to trigger this one but once you’re in it, this is where you can win one of the Jackpots. 

Here’s another Playtech game I don’t feel like I can recommend playing. It feels old somehow and even though you’ll see Merlin, or whoever it is, appear from time to time fully expanded and a couple of features that sound good on paper, I’m not a fan. There are better games out there. 

Gold Hit: O’Reilly’s Charms

Gold Hit: O’Reilly’s Charms

For players who are focused on seeing the cash on screen but not necessarily having to worry about other features and having a good time, this might be something for you. I find Gold Hit: O’Reilly’s Charms boring and truth be told, the only positive thing I’m taking from the game is the lovely Irish flute soundtrack.

I don’t have to mention the fact that the graphics are poor, as looking at the image above will show you.

Rainbow means money

Your challenge is to fill up the reels with gold coins and if you see the rainbow appear and cover a reel, it means it will collect the money and pass it over to you. 

There are Free Spins hiding in there somewhere but I never saw any of them. The absence didn’t exactly make me see the game in a better light but even at first glance I started to suspect it wasn’t going to be great.

I would stay clear of Gold Hit: O’Reilly’s Charms and that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Mega Fire Blaze: 3 Wizards

Mega Fire Blaze: 3 Wizards

Another enchanted forest adventure awaits in Mega Fire Blaze: 3 Wizards. The first thing I do in a game like this is to flip the switch on the Bet feature to increase my chances of triggering the Hold & Win feature.

I find it interesting that the game looks very similar to Fire Blaze: Blue Wizard PowerPlay Jackpot slot mentioned above. I mean the backdrop is slightly different but the wizard are exactly the same. I’m sure Playtech saves some money not having to create new ones for each game but still. Changing up characters should be part of the rules when it comes to new slots, unless it’s a sequel of course.

The wizards have their own feature known as the Wild Wizards feature. This is triggered by all of them appearing on the same spin. They may nudge up or down to fill the entire reel, but it’s not a guarantee they will. They didn’t seem to want to while I was playing at least.

The game has another two features worth exploring, Mega Fire Blaze Hold & Respin and the Tree feature. I wasn’t lucky enough to be able to experience them myself unfortunately but the Hold & Respin doesn’t need any further explanation while the Tree feature is just a fancy name for Free Spins. 

You will see that Free Spins can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, depending on which one you’ll be awarded. All 3 wizards have their own version including orbs, golden eggs and jackpots.

Stuck in the 90’s

Mega Fire Blaze: 3 Wizards suffers from the same issues as most of the other Playtech games. One of the biggest ones is of course the already mentioned arcade sound effects that makes you feel you’re stuck in the 90’s.

If you’re a fan of progressive jackpot slots, Age of the Gods: God of Storms 3 by Playtech might just blow you away! It left me wishing for more ways to land those winning combinations.

Adding to my disappointment, the game’s overall volatility is set on the lower side, and the RTP falls below average. These factors combined made it challenging for me to feel truly engaged and excited during my gameplay sessions. I was left craving that thrill of higher risks and greater rewards. Sadly, the lackluster experience extended to the visual aspect of the game as well. In my opinion, the graphics fell short of delivering that wow factor I was hoping for. The quality simply didn’t match up to the standards I’ve come to expect from modern online slots. It left me feeling uninspired and disconnected from the game’s theme.

I would only recommend this game to major fans of Brazilian football.

Moving on to the in-game features, I have to say that Roberto Carlos Sporting Legends left a lot to be desired. While it does include two types of wild symbols, namely Football Wilds and Roberto Carlos Wilds, these features alone weren’t enough to compensate for the game’s overall shortcomings. There are no free spins bonus games or hold and win bonus games to look forward to. It felt like a missed opportunity to inject some much-needed excitement and variety into the gameplay. 

All in all, I have to admit that Roberto Carlos Sporting Legends left me feeling underwhelmed. The lack of paylines, lower volatility, subpar graphics, and limited bonus features contributed to my overall disappointment. For me, this game is far from a GOOOOALLLLLL! There are other slot games out there that offer more engaging gameplay and a higher level of entertainment.
