Another raw winter freezing temperature is dominating the land of Odin’s realm. For some reason it still doesn’t stop the characters from showing off their bulging biceps and bare legs. The black sheep of the family, Loki, has once again switched allegiance and is going after the family home with all of his powers.

Sharp Graphics With Voiceover Pep-Talks
Play ‘n GO has done an excellent job in terms of the graphics. Right from the opening screen, things look sharp but it gets even better when the features start rolling’ in. I’m also a fan of the voice over as it reminds me of a coach or just someone cheering you on as you do well.

I Found the Yeti
I did react to one thing and that’s the character hiding behind the reels. I’m not entirely sure about who it’s supposed to be but it does give me Yeti vibes. Do you agree? It does seem like it’s Loki, temporarily taking on another form.
Bottom line, it’s a great looking game and the rune symbols give it an authentic feel and being a high volatility game, it should be good. Go Vikings!

The glowing ball is the Wild, which is part of the Spirit Wild feature. Whenever it’s a part of a winning combination, it’s also collected. If you manage to collect 4 of them, you will trigger Gifts of the Gods, which is another feature to take note of.

You can see the Runic Charge Meter on your left and besides being cool to look at, it’s a meter you want to fill by racking up win after win. It’s definitely a challenge but if you can start off by scoring 35 winning symbols, you will activate another random feature.

- Heaven’s Spear – Any weapon symbols will become the same symbol
Mjölnir’s Strike
- Mjölnir’s Strike – Will destroy 6-10 random symbols
Folkvang’s Force
- Folkvang’s Force – One of the low paying symbols will be upgraded

- Trumpet’s Screech – Watch the symbols be destroyed around 3 random symbols

Don’t waste your time trying to land 3 scatters because you won’t find any of them. I was a little bit surprised when I realized that in order to trigger the Ragnarök Free Spins, you’ll need as many as 65(!) symbols in the Runic Charge Meter.
I don’t know how many spins I had to play in order to get the job done but it was a lot. Considering the high volatility I guess it’s not that strange but I was hoping to get there a lot faster.

How to Score Multipliers
When you do get there, the same charge meter will turn into a multiplier version in which you can get up to 10x. Even if Spirit Wilds continues to be collected even in the bonus round, it wasn’t as exciting as I had hoped for.
To be fair, I had a miserable bonus round performance and only managed to win a sensational €0.59 in total.
You can understand how I’m struggling to see how I will be able to sleep tonight with those thoughts still haunting me. With a bit of luck though, I think the bonus round can be quite spectacular but I guess I’ll have to wait for another day.

Enough Feature for Success
With all the members of the legendary family battling for screen time, I was hoping for more. Actually, that’s not 100% fair because there are enough features here to really help you have a productive time at the reels. It just wasn’t my day today but the overall vibe is great and I really enjoyed the larger grid.
Was it as good as I had hoped? No, not today but maybe tomorrow. Will I come back and play it again? Definitely! Do I recommend others to play it? Yes, it’s definitely worth a shot.
