One of the top casino trends I’ve recently noticed is seeing sites work to build a stronger sense of community among their players. This expansion of socialization is being driven through various means.
- Mobile optimization and apps
- Social media
- Group chat
- Tournaments and races
- Online forums
Let’s take a look at these various outreach and communication strategies and see how crypto casinos and sportsbooks are implementing them to benefit us.
1. Stake.com
Many online casinos host “News” sections where they announce new promotional offers, big wins, and new games. Stake.com goes a step further by hosting a personal blog section that has detailed articles on crypto, sports betting, and more. The blog is not only organized in a way that makes it easy to find content, but is extremely professionally designed.
I checked out the “How To” section on the blog and found interesting articles on the following topics.
- AFL betting tips
- How to buy crypto
- How to become a VIP
- How to play Plinko
- How to deposit in Japan using bank transfer
Stake.com also has its own public forum! Here, players can post about anything of interest ranging from their favorite games to asking for advice on the withdrawal process and more. The forum also has specific areas to help players where English may not be your first language. You’ll find posts in the following languages at Stake.com.
- Russian
- Indonesian
- Tagalog
- Portuguese
- French
- Turkish
- Polish
- Spanish
- Vietnamese
- Japanese
- German
- Finnish
In addition to these fantastic on-site areas, you can also find Stake.com at the following social media platforms.
2. BC.Game
Not to be outdone, BC.Game is another crypto casino and sportsbook utilizing both a personal blog and an online forum. Personally, I don’t find the BC.Game blog’s layout to be as slick as Stake.com’s is. This made it more difficult to find the content I might be seeking. The forum was set up very similar to Stake’s, but offered additional languages for players in Asia, including Persian, Burmese, and Hindi.
One interesting platform that BC.Game is on is GitHub, a forum I was previously unfamiliar with. GitHub describes itself as a platform where “ over 94 million developers shape the future of software together.” I’m not a very tech-savvy person, but from what I understand, it’s a place where the programmers at BC.Game can engage with other digital programmers to seek advice/help. If you have a better understanding of what this platform does, please leave me a comment below.
Other social media platforms where you can find BC.Game include:
3. BitStarz
BitStarz Casino has several social media profiles and is very active on all of them. They use these platforms to communicate with players and create a highly engaged community. For example, their Twitter profile has over 10,700 followers alone. And yes, they do have the blue check mark. They also post some hilarious memes that you have to see to believe!
Another great way BitStarz stays active with its followers is via its Twitch stream. The casino site used Twitch to stream the much anticipated Tesla raffle. The Twitch stream only has 70 followers at the moment, but it is highly likely that they will continue to use this platform for other means, so I encourage you to follow it.
Besides Twitch and Twitter, you can also find BitStarz on the following social media sites.
4. BitDice
If in the moment social interaction is what you crave, BitDice Casino is the place for you. Here, you’ll find one of the few crypto casinos that has invested in online open chat room technology. Players use the chat window to ask questions, flag issues, and communicate directly with the casino.
For example, one user in the photo above can be seen tagging the casino’s chat profile on an issue they are having on claiming a casino bonus. Further below, you’ll find the casino directly engaging with users on a promotional offer and reminding them that it will end soon. This is one of the best ways I’ve seen a casino directly engage with its players.
You can also find BitDice on Twitter, where they are highly active. On their Twitter profile, you’ll find exclusive promotional offers, trivia questions, celebrating big wins by players, and more. BitDice’s Twitter account is quickly approaching 6,000 followers!
5. 22Bet
Our final crypto casino and sportsbook making the list is 22Bet, not because they are utilizing different platforms but because of the strategy they have implemented to use the platforms. 22Bet Casino uses its social media accounts to create localized content to engage with players on a more personal level.
For example, on Instagram, you can find the following 22Bet accounts.
- 22betoficial
- 22bet.cricket
- 22betnaija
- 22bet_portugal
- 22betkenya
- 22bettanzania
- Online_22bet
- 22bet_uk
- 22bet_de
- Greentips_22bet
- 22bet_online
- 22betcanada
- 22bet.india
While I am sure that hosting so many profiles in various languages can be time-consuming and eat up a lot of resources, it’s the perfect strategy to crypto casinos to build stronger online communities. BC.Game has also implemented a similar strategy, but not on as big of a scale as 22Bet has. I hope to see more casinos and sportsbooks utilizing this localization soon, as it is proven that is the best way to create a more engaged community. The site also utilizes this same communications strategy on Facebook.
You can also find 22Bet on the following platforms.
Final Thoughts
Now that we’ve seen the various forums, platforms, and strategies crypto casinos are using for engagement, it’ll be interesting to see where they will continue pushing these as we head into 2023.
