Blockchain Megaways, Penny Pelican and The Great Stick-Up are new games with several crypto options.
It’s a new week and as players, you want to know what’s new out there. I’ve taken a look around at some of your favorite casinos to see what’s available and below you will find 3 new games that allow crypto play.
Take a look at the latest to come out of Booming Games, BGaming and Pragmatic Play.
I played Blockchain Megaways at BitStarz
Blockchain Megaways – Booming Games
Well, I’ve said it on many occasions that we need fresh blood in terms of slot themes and here we go. It doesn’t get much more spot on with the name Blockchain Megaways and Booming Games is clearly targeting crypto players.
Look wise, it doesn’t really do much for me. It’s just a colorful mosaic of various currencies, both crypto and fiat. You’ll find the logo for Doge, Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin to name a few. It is a high volatile game and since being a Megaways slot, you can play with as many as 200,704 of them.
Who doesn’t want a Mega Win?
Cascade for Mega Wins
Features like Cash Collect and Mystery Symbols will keep you on your toes and there are definitely massive wins lurking around. You will get a lot of help from the cascade mechanic, where a winning combo will give you a chance at another one and therefore increase your winnings on that particular spin.
It honestly didn’t take long for me to land a Mega Win, which is always a great feeling and makes you want to hunt down the next one and another one after that.
Normally you’ll be fooling yourself as they never seem to come but this game seemed to want to prove a point, and it did.
Pay Your Way to Bigger Wins
I wanted to chase scatters and Free Spins but I noticed there was a quicker option in the way of the Buy feature, just to the left of your screen.
Buying 10 Free Spins will cost you 110x your stake
It Can Pay Off
Going this route will cost you 110x your bet for 10 Free Spins but I was playing with minimum Doge bets so I figured I would give it a go. Did it pay off? Oh, you better believe it!
Another Big Win? Thank you very much!
Keep ‘Em Coming
During Free Spins, each winning cascade will add +1 to the multiplier, which in itself is limitless. This means that when you land a nice win, the multiplier will kick in and boom – your win becomes massive. I had a few that really got my blood pumping!
It’s not everyday you land a Hyper Win!
To Play or Not to Play?
Will I recommend taking Blockchain Megaways for a spin? Yes, I will. Sure, I am most certainly influenced by my fantastic first experience but I see that as a good thing. Considering I wasn’t too impressed with the look of the game, with wins like this, I would basically play any game!
You can find the game at BitStarz and mBit Casino.
Say hello to Penny Pelican
Penny Pelican – BGaming
I don’t know if she’s called Penny because her beak is filled with gold coins but it would make sense. Penny Pelican feels like the complete contrast of Blockchain Megaways as this is more of a cute, cartoonish game.
It’s a 5×3 slot with 20 paylines that will show you all that hides beneath the surface of the ocean. Anchors, crabs, starfish and of course, the always desirable treasure chests. Expect high volatility action and a 95.98% RTP.
My first spin at 7bit Casino resulted in a Big Win
First Spin Charm
Apparently my luck continues while trying these new games. I landed a Big Win on my very first spin. Perhaps the word has spread that I’m reviewing these games because they all seem to want me on their good side.
Penny the Multiplier
Penny is always looking for a good time so whenever she shows, she will give you a win multiplier of 2x or 3x. Don’t be afraid to land more of them as they will all be added up for an even bigger win.
Penny Pelican will let you pay your way to the Free Spins
Let’s Spin the Wheel
Penny Pelican also has the option of using the Buy feature so I jumped on it once again. After pressing Yes, you will visit the Wheel of Fortune.
There are 3 wheels in motion and after they have stopped, the total number is the number of Free Spins you are entitled.
Spin the wheel for more Free Spins
Poor Return on Investment
Taking the risk of using the Buy feature cost me 0.12000 kDOG and after all my 11 Free Spins were played, I ended up with a total win of 0.01240 kDOG. In other words I didn’t make my money back this time.
Choosing the Buy option didn’t pan out the way I wanted
Let Penny Soar Free
I wanted to try a completely different game than the previous one but I don’t think Penny Pelican would be a game I would normally play. That doesn’t mean it can’t be fun for you or other players, just not for me.
Also, I don’t like the fact that BGaming changes the way they present the currency in the game. I played with DOGE and the game changes it to kDOG, meaning instead of a 120 DOGE bet, it shows as 0.12000 kDOG. It messes with players’ minds.
If you want to fly with Penny, you can do so at Stake.com, Bitcasino.io and 7Bit Casino.
I’m not sure what the story is in The Great Stick-Up
The Great Stick-Up – Pragmatic Play
Ok, so it’s time to switch gears again and head to Pragmatic Play’s The Great Stick-Up. Let me first say that my eyes deceived me as I first thought this was going to be a Wild West themed game. Instead, it turned out to be more of a Sherlock Holmes vibe.
Neck Tattoos and Piercings
You will meet “Sherlock” as the Wild symbol, even though his famous hat is its own symbol. The villains seem trigger happy, have neck tattoos or nose piercings and love to smoke both cigarettes and cigars. I still haven’t figured out the connection between hero and villains, if I may say so.
With an RTP of 96.30%, high volatility and a max win of 5,000x, it does have potential.
Wilds are always welcome when I play slots.
No More Lucky Days
My luck is clearly gone with the wind and I couldn’t get anywhere close to Free Spins. It takes 3 scatters and I got to taste the teaser reel sometimes (you know when you have 2 scatters and waiting for the 3rd to kick in) but that was it.
The only thing helping me win this time was Wild symbols. I mean a win is a win but it’s just not the same unless you win a bit bigger and really feel lucky.
Thanks but No Thanks
I was hoping The Great Stick-Up would be more fun and have some creative features but that’s not the case. I find the whole theme a bit confusing and the soundtrack felt like an old tv-series, which I guess is fitting for Sherlock Holmes.
Either way, I’m not a fan of the game and I wouldn’t recommend it. Feel free to visit mBit Casino, KingBilly and FortuneJack if you want to see if you have more luck.
That’s All Folks
So, these three games are all ready to show you what they can do and they are all open for crypto business. As always, I can’t guarantee the outcome but one can absolutely land some solid wins in all the games.
Whether you give them a chance or not, I will wish you good luck!
