Best Thunderkick Casinos 2026
Esqueleto Explosivo 3 can pay more than ten times what the original ever could.
And that jump says a lot about Thunderkick. This Stockholm-based studio has been making slots since 2012. Its biggest hits keep producing hit sequels, and each one tends to swing harder than the last.
This page compares the originals with those sequels and covers the crypto casinos I’d play them at. And if Thunderkick isn’t your style, I’ve also listed my favorite crypto slots from the rest of the industry.
Here are the Thunderkick casinos I’d play at.

Best Thunderkick Crypto Casinos
Which Thunderkick Casino Fits How You Play
Thunderkick No Deposit Free Spins – Mirax

Want to try a casino before you deposit? Mirax gives new accounts 20 free spins with code MX20, and you don’t need to deposit to claim them.
Its slot filter lists Thunderkick among more than 70 studios. So once the spins are done, you can easily find the Esqueleto and Midas games.
What’s the catch? Winnings from the spins carry 60x wagering and cash out at $20. You also need to deposit $10 before you can withdraw them.
No Wager Cashback – Winz.io

Sick of watching wagering eat your bonus? Winz.io pays back 20% of your losses as cash you can withdraw, with code CRYPTO and a $5 minimum deposit.
There’s no cap on the cashback, and no wagering on it either. That suits a Thunderkick sequel, since a very high volatility slot can go quiet for a long stretch.
However, cashback only pays when you lose. If a Pink Elephants bonus lands early, you’ll get nothing back for that session.
Biggest Welcome Bonus – Fairspin

Do you like starting with a big balance? Fairspin matches your first deposit 500% up to 5 BTC with our code BCKFAIR. You also get 200 free spins, and the minimum deposit is $20.
That’s the biggest match of the four casinos here. And Fairspin pays you back in its own TFS tokens on every bet, too.
But the terms are heavy. The bonus and the free spins both carry 45x wagering, so I’d only take it if you plan to play for a while.
Low Minimum Deposit – Bitcasino.io

Only want to put in a little? Bitcasino.io takes deposits from just $5, and it’s been running as a crypto casino since 2014.
New accounts get 100% up to 1,500 USDT on the first deposit. And most withdrawals clear in minutes.
One catch worth knowing. The match carries 30x wagering within seven days, with a 4 USDT max bet while you clear it.
Thunderkick’s Series: Originals vs Sequels
Esqueleto Explosivo

This is the series I’d start anyone on, because the first game is so gentle. Here’s how the three main games compare:
- Esqueleto Explosivo (2015): 96% RTP, low volatility, 700x max win
- Esqueleto Explosivo 2 (2020): 96.13% RTP, medium volatility, 5,000x max win
- Esqueleto Explosivo 3 (2024): 94.22% RTP, high volatility, 7,500x max win
The original has no free spins at all. Instead, every win drops new skeletons in and doubles the multiplier, up to 32x. It pays small and often, which is why I still play it on a slow night.
The sequel added a free spins round and moved to 99 ways. Then the third game swapped the lines for a 5×5 cluster grid. In its bonus, the multiplier can climb to 1,024x.
Sadly, that ceiling comes with a lower RTP. There’s also a Christmas version titled Feliz Navidead.
Pros
- The original is low volatility and kind to small balances
- The third game’s multiplier climbs to 1,024x
- The third game sells its bonus at 75x
Cons
- The original has no free spins
- The third game returns only 94.22%
- The Christmas version adds nothing new
Pink Elephants

Pink Elephants is the strangest series Thunderkick makes, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. All three start with six reels and 4,096 ways, and each one swings hard with its volatility.
- Pink Elephants (2017): 96.1% RTP, high volatility, 8,200x max win
- Pink Elephants 2 (2020): 96.13% RTP, high volatility, 10,000x max win
- Pink Elephants Trinity (2025): very high volatility, 14,400x max win
The second game kept the formula and added a bonus buy, with several price tiers. That’s the one I play most.
Trinity is the bigger change. Its bonus runs through six levels of peanut collecting, with sticky wilds along the way. Reach the top, and a seventh reel appears in the middle of the grid.
But the higher ceiling has a cost. Trinity is the most volatile of the three, so I give it a bigger balance than the other two.
Pros
- The 4,096 ways keep the base game busy
- Pink Elephants 2 lets you buy the bonus
- Trinity pays up to 14,400x
Cons
- There’s no low volatility option in the series
- The original has no bonus buy
- Trinity can go a long time between features
Midas Golden Touch

This series is all about multiplying wilds. Every game here runs on five reels and 15 lines, so it feels simple even when the numbers get big.
- Midas Golden Touch: 96.17% RTP, high volatility, 10,100x max win
- Midas Golden Touch 2 (2024): 94.27% RTP, medium volatility, 15,000x max win
- Midas Golden Touch 3 (2025): 94.16% RTP, high volatility, 15,000x max win
- Midas Golden Touch: Thunder Pots (2026): 94.22% RTP, high volatility, 10,100x max win
The second game added the Gift of Midas, which can randomly drop extra wilds or scatters. It’s also the only medium volatility game in the run.
The third game starts its bonus on just five free spins. But its wilds can carry multipliers up to 32x.
Thunder Pots came out in August 2026. It fills three chests to build up the free spins modes. Those pots are not a jackpot, even though the name sounds like one.
Pros
- Midas Golden Touch 2 is the only medium volatility game in the run
- Two of the four pay up to 15,000x
- The third game sells its bonus from 100x
Cons
- Every sequel returns less than 95%
- Five starting spins can end quickly
- There’s also a Christmas Edition, and it’s the same game as the original
Beat the Beast

Every Beat the Beast game caps its max win on a number made of one repeated digit.
- Kraken’s Lair (2020): 96.12% RTP, 7,777x max win
- Cerberus’ Inferno (2020): 96.15% RTP, 6,666x max win
- Quetzalcoatl’s Trial (2020): 96.16% RTP, 5,555x max win
- Griffin’s Gold (2020): 96.14% RTP, 22,222x max win
- Dragon’s Wrath (2024): 96.18% RTP, 11,111x max win
Thunderkick rates all of them very high volatility. They share five reels and nine lines, then each one changes the bonus.
Griffin’s Gold is my favorite. Its wilds roam the reels and grow by 1x with every win, up to 5x each. Then Dragon’s Wrath starts its bonus on only three spins and adds more as you win.
Trust me, these will test your patience. But they also kept the higher RTPs, unlike most newer Thunderkick sequels.
Pros
- Every game returns more than 96%
- Griffin’s Gold pays up to 22,222x
- Dragon’s Wrath sells its bonus at 125x
Cons
- Very high volatility across the board
- Nine lines make the base game thin
- Dragon’s Wrath starts on just three spins
Carnival Queen

Carnival Queen has the biggest ceilings in this list, and the two games feel quite different.
- Carnival Queen (2019): 94.16% RTP, medium volatility, 22,700x max win
- Carnival Queen 2 (2025): 94.18% RTP, high volatility, 25,000x max win
The original runs on 4,096 ways with avalanche wins and a growing multiplier. For a medium volatility slot, a 22,700x ceiling is rare.
The sequel changes the grid every spin, from 5,040 ways up to 117,649. Exploding wilds make the reels taller, and the multiplier has no upper limit.
So the choice comes down to your mood. I play the original when I want a long session, and the sequel when I’m chasing.
Pros
- The original pairs medium volatility with a 22,700x ceiling
- The sequel pays up to 25,000x
- The sequel’s buy options start at 1.5x
Cons
- Both return under 94.2%
- The sequel’s grid can feel chaotic
- The sequel swings much harder than the original
Older Thunderkick Slots Pay Back More
Thunderkick’s older games mostly return about 96%, and its newer ones mostly return about 94%.
Why does that matter?
Because that gap adds up to real money lost over a long session. At $1 a spin, 1,000 spins on a 94% slot give back about $20 less than the same spins on a 96% slot. That’s on average, of course, and one big feature can wipe it out.
There are exceptions. Dragon’s Wrath and 12 Bolts of Thunder both have a 96% RTP. But that was in 2024, and most releases since then hover around 94%.
Thunderkick has also brought several older hits back as Reborn versions. Esqueleto Explosivo 2, Pink Elephants 2, Carnival Queen, and Griffin’s Gold are all listed that way now. Most of these Reborn versions let you buy the bonus games.
And if you want something gentler on your bankroll, these three older games are rated low volatility:
- 1429 Uncharted Seas: 98.6% RTP, the highest I know of from Thunderkick, with a 670x max win
- Turning Totems: 96.1% RTP, and it has 11 lines that pay both ways
- Esqueleto Explosivo: 96% RTP, with that climbing multiplier and no free spins
💡 BCK Pro Tip: Open the info screen before your first spin. The RTP your casino runs is the one printed there, so I check it before I pick a stake.
Thunderkick Hits Without a Sequel
Gods of Rock

Not every Thunderkick hit got a sequel, and this one is my favorite of the rest. Gods of Rock runs on six reels and 466 ways, with a heavy metal band playing above the grid.
Each reel can carry its own multiplier, up to 11x. When two or three line up on a win, the payout jumps fast. Then Wild Encore brings wilds back for another go.
It’s high volatility, with a 96.05% RTP and a 20,000x max win. The Reborn version also lets you buy the bonus, so you don’t have to wait for it.
12 Bolts of Thunder

This is Thunderkick’s highest ceiling, at 30,000x your bet. It runs on a 5×4 grid with 20 lines, and it’s high volatility.
But here’s what I like most about it. The base game returns 96.15%, and the 100x bonus buy returns 96.50%. So on paper, buying the feature gives back a little more than spinning for it.
That’s not a reason to buy it every time, though. A 100x buy at $1 is still $100 gone if the feature lands flat.
Big Fin Bay

Big Fin Bay is the fishing slot I go back to when I want a lot of ways. The base game runs on 5,040 ways, and the free spins open up to 117,649.
That jump is where the 15,040x max win lives. The base game pays steadily enough, and the bonus does the heavy lifting.
It’s high volatility with a 96.14% RTP. I keep my stake low here because the free spins can take a while to show up.
Thunderkick RTP and Max Win
| Game | RTP | Max win |
|---|---|---|
| 1429 Uncharted Seas | 98.6% | 670x |
| Esqueleto Explosivo | 96% | 700x |
| Esqueleto Explosivo 3 | 94.22% | 7,500x |
| Pink Elephants 2 | 96.13% | 10,000x |
| Midas Golden Touch | 96.17% | 10,100x |
| Midas Golden Touch 3 | 94.16% | 15,000x |
| Griffin’s Gold | 96.14% | 22,222x |
| Carnival Queen | 94.16% | 22,700x |
| Carnival Queen 2 | 94.18% | 25,000x |
| 12 Bolts of Thunder | 96.15% | 30,000x |
The low numbers at the top are low-volatility games. With those, wins land often, and they stay small.
Most of the games from 10,000x down play very differently.
Those games can go hundreds of spins without a feature, then pay it all back at once. So before you stake big, it’s worth reading about the high variance slots that pay in rare, big bursts.
Honestly, I’d pick 12 Bolts of Thunder from this table. It came out in 2024, kept a 96% RTP, and still has the highest max win potential on this page.
