3. Deposits, Withdrawals, and Security

Highway Casino does require you to register by supplying your name, surname, gender, date of birth, as well as your address. 

And, I’ve realized that they are insanely strict about their KYC but I’ll touch base on this matter later on. 

Next, I made a BTC deposit

The minimum deposit requirements if $30 for BTC and $10 for Neosurf but it’s important to note that if you make an Ethereum deposit less than $50, it will not be credited to your wallet and you will lose it.  

There is this conversion calculator that indicates the amount to be paid in BTC and because I opted in for the bonus, I had a chubby wallet of $107.42 despite making a deposit of only 0.0017 BTC, plus 100 Free Spins (worth $0.08 per spin). 

You can make FIAT payments in USD, EUR, CAD, and AUD and they accept BTC, ETH, and LTC as well.

4. Available Games

Another thing that is quite annoying (although not a big deal) is that I got logged out automatically the whole time. It’s most probably for security reasons but I haven’t seen this before.

It is almost like snakes and ladders. You roll the dice, move forward depending on the outcome of the dice, and if you land on the head of the snake, you move all the way down. If you happen to land on a vine, you move up to the top of the vine. 

There is also a treasure wheel that is triggered when Banana Jones lands on this symbol on the board with multipliers of up to x50, and there is Crystal Banana Quest that is triggered when you reach the Giant Temple at the end of the board.

5. Customer Support

Again, the live chat option is not where you’ll usually find it, and instead in that all-in-one search button on the right of your screen. It also pops up as a new window which can be a bit frustrating at times but I must admit that the support agent was very fast to answer my questions. 

But. 

He first wanted me to send him a copy of my ID card….

After I told him that I first had a few questions before I was going to send him proof of identity, he was more than happy to help me, but he did remind me at the end that a copy of my ID card was still required. 

I also asked about the restricted countries because I could not find the list in the Ts and Cs and the support agent was a bit cloak and dagger about it. I have no idea why, but I did find the following info eventually:

6. Conclusion

Highway Casino has what it takes to make it a decent casino. I’m saying decent because the game selection is rather small, the banking options are also limited, and the withdrawal limits are painfully low. 

But. 

At the same time, I didn’t encounter any huge issues whatsoever. Registration was seamless, my deposit reflected fairly fast, customer support answered all my questions fast, and I was quite overwhelmed (in a good way) by the bonuses and the bonuses shop. 

You can claim more than one bonus every single day and although the wagering requirements of some of the bonuses are rather cheeky, other bonuses have low playthrough requirements of x25. 

They are really strict about KYC but when you cash out you are going to need to send them the relevant info in any way, and although the game selection is small, I’m pretty sure there is more than enough to keep you entertained. 

For me, the navigation can be better but maybe it’s simply because I’m stuck in a rut, thanks to most other casinos following more or less the same blueprint.
