For those of you looking to play Nolimit City’s latest creation, Serial, I can recommend keeping your lights on.
The Blood Thirsty Reels of Serial
Unless you are the spawn of Freddy Krueger or just someone who simply thrives from watching killers at work, think twice before you consider relaxing at home, playing the blood thirsty reels of Serial.
Nolimit City has simply gone all in on giving players a heart attack with their latest release but just like Kellogg’s Frosties, you know it’s not good for you but it’s impossible to stay away. Especially considering the many features in Serial, including a 74,800x multiplier!
Put the Lotion in the Basket
I was just about to tell you to start the game when the famous words from Silence of the Lambs came creeping out from deep inside my mind for some reason. I don’t want to dwell on it too much so let me try that again – start the game and navigate the reels at your own risk!
How Is Volatility? Just Like Expected – Extreme!
Let’s get the numbers out of the way first, shall we. I do like the reel setup of 5-7-7-7-5 with Enhancer Cells at both top and bottom. You will have to begin with a much simpler 5×3 with some positions locked.
RTP: 96.07%
Paylines: 243+
Multiplier: 74,800x
Volatility: Extreme!
Enhancer Cells
I already mentioned Enhancer Cells but I also feel a need to explain what they are. If you score a respin, you will see two Enhancer Cells open up and one of the following will show up to help you.
- xWays – This guy will reveal 2-4 symbols of the same kind
- xNudge Wild – A stacked Wild symbol will always nudge so that it will be fully visible. Not only is it eager to be seen, it will also increase your multiplier with each nudge.
- Wild – It’s a regular Wild symbol
- Character Symbols – You could see one of the higher paying symbols appear
xSplit Wild
They all kind of sound the same, don’t they? Anyway, the xSplit Wild is a 2x Wild that can only show on the last reel. The effect is that it will take off to the left and split all symbols on the line in half, meaning double symbols.
The Search
This sounds more of a police mission to be honest, but The Search is a valuable feature in this game because it’s a bonus round. You need to land 3 scatters (fittingly enough, scatters are posters of a missing girl) to trigger it.
As you can see, the creepiness takes another turn and the search for big wins and victims continue.
The Kill
Here’s another version of the bonus round where besides all the same features as The Search, the xSplit symbol will stay a Jumping Wild on reel number 5.
xBizarre
The calm and relaxing names continue but the xBizarre feature is the one you really want to hunt down, excuse my language. This is how you can win the monster 74,800x multiplier.
To get the job done, you first need to lay your hands on a 18,700x win in the base game. This will give you a chance to win the 74,800x through winning bets.
It’s a 50/50 game and if you can win it 3 times, you will be the undisputed champion! Just remember that if you lose the 50/50, you will also lose your entire win, so play it smart.
Buy Bonus
As always with Nolimit City, you have the opportunity to use the Buy Bonus feature and head straight to a bonus round. All it takes is a small fee to unlock it all and you can go for the bigger wins.
In Serial, you have 3 different options. You can buy The Search, The Kill or go for the Lucky Draw in which you can get either or with a 70/30 advantage for The Search.
Play if You Dare
If you can ignore the theme itself and the imagery, Serial is actually a pretty good game. Just like when you’re watching horror movies, if you turn off the sound, it’s not at all as scary and you can of course do the same thing here.
The thing players will have the biggest problem with is of course the graphics which can be a bit extreme. Whenever you land a big win, they actually get even worse, to the point where some censorship actually comes into play. I’m sure there must be some limits to it in order to be allowed at casinos, despite the name Nolimit City.
If you can handle the blood, disgusting graphics and a weird soundtrack, give the game a chance and see what you think. There is actually a ton of cash to be won and that in itself is worth the risk. Do you agree?
You can find the game at Wolfy, Winz.io and BitStarz among other casinos.
Happy hunting!
