October brings more than just falling leaves, especially for all you sports fans out there. The MLB playoffs, a new NHL season begins while the NFL and NCAA Football are smack in the middle of their season.
Man, it’s a great time for sports betting so let’s get to it!
1) MLB Playoffs Game 1
The MLB Playoffs are finally here and it is of course the best time of the year for all baseball fans. With all the Wild Card games finished in just two games, the playoff tree is now ready to go.
We are looking at a BIG weekend and all remaining teams are playing on Saturday. The Orioles, Braves, Dodgers and Astros will be starting at home and they are also the odds favorite.
Who do you have?
2) NHL Season Opener
Without competition, the number one topic leading up to the new NHL season has been Connor Bedard. The kid is hyped up as the next Connor McDavid and based on the pre-season, the Chicago Blackhawks’ top pick is ready to put on a show for the world to see. Does extra hockey skills come with the name Connor?
Fans around the world have been waiting all summer for the season to begin and the puck will finally drop on October 10th.
Pick the Winner
Instead of listing some of the games, I will focus on the Stanley Cup for those of you who are looking to place a bet on the winning team! You’ll find Colorado, Carolina, Toronto among the favorites, which I find a little bit surprising.
I don’t think you can disregard Edmonton and I’m sure Las Vegas wants to prove to people that last year wasn’t a fluke.
Have you picked your winner yet?
3) NFL Week 5
The Eagles and the 49ers are the only two teams with a clean record after 4 games. If both of them didn’t play in the NFC, they could very well be playing each other in the Super Bowl.
There will be plenty of action during week 5 of the season and one of the biggest games is the Cowboys in San Francisco on Monday Night Football. Then there’s the NFL London Games that continues this Sunday, with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills playing in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Who’s ready for some football?
4) NCAA Football
Last week’s game between the Trojans and the Buffaloes was a great one. Great performances, high scoring and overall very entertaining. USC and especially Caleb Williams are having big goals for this year and this week they are hoping to take another step with a win against the Arizona Wild Cats.
5) Rugby World Cup
The ferocious battle of the Rugby World Cup continues and we’ve more games coming up over the next couple of days. New Zealand plays Uruguay tonight and tomorrow it’s time for another vicious clash between the old rivals France and Italy.
Good Luck!
