Another BIG sports weekend is coming up and I’m not just referring to the massive bout between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou on Saturday. We’ve also got World Series Baseball, NFL, Rugby World Cup Final and Premier League football.
The odds are in, both favorites and underdogs are ready to prove to the world that they are the best. When it comes to sports betting however, we can all be winners, which is the beauty of it.
Take a look below at what’s going on, find your odds, place your bets and fingers crossed you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank when it’s all said and done.
Let’s get started!
1) World Series Baseball – Texas Rangers vs Arizona Diamondbacks
A lot of baseball fans were expecting the Phillies to make it to the World Series but the Diamondbacks had other plans. Both NLCS and ALCS went 7 games and being able to squeeze out that little extra that it takes to win is incredibly rewarding.
Congratulations to the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks for making the World Series!
Winner Predictions
So, what are the predictions? The Texas Rangers are the favorites to win the series with 4-2 or 4-3. In the odds below, I have included the odds for Correct Series Score as well as the MVP.
What do you think?
2) Rugby Union World Cup Final (October 28)
Oh what a battle we can look forward to on Saturday when the All Blacks from New Zealand take on the South Africa Springboks! As the saying goes, every game is a brand new game and you never know what’s going to happen. Their latest encounter took place in August when South Africa put on a beating in a 35-7 win.
Not only did the Springboks win last time, they are also the defending World Champions. Does this mean they are the clear favorite and will lift the trophy once again? Well, not so fast.
Looking at the odds, it’s New Zealand that is expected to come out on top. Stake for example has 1.73 on New Zealand vs 2.21 on South Africa. Cloudbet on the other hand has South Africa as a slight favorite.
Will the Haka dance strike fear into the opponents? I think we can expect a close but very exciting game!
PS. Don’t forget about the Bronze medal game between England and Argentina.
3) Boxing – Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou (October 28th)
It’s going down, ladies and gentlemen! The two heavyweight champions in boxing (Tyson Fury) and UFC (Francis Ngannou) will be throwing fist in Riyadh this Saturday. Considering the size of these fighters, it’s no secret that we can expect some vicious punches. Tyson Fury is 6ft 9in and weighs 280 lbs while Francis Ngannou is 6ft 4in and weighs 270 lbs. Wow!
Despite being an impressive athlete and punches harder than anybody in the world, it’s hard to see Ngannou having a chance at winning. Tyson Fury is one of the best boxers we have ever seen and despite his physique being anywhere close to his opponents, he is an undefeated boxer.
With the power that Ngannou possesses, if he is able to land a punch there’s always a risk for an upset. Imagine the reactions!
All I can say is – don’t forget to tune in!
4) NFL Week 8
Despite losing the opening games at home, the Kansas City Chiefs have the best record in the league together with the Eagles at 6-1. Is this a result of the Kelce brothers’ highly popular podcast or perhaps it’s because of the newfound romance between Travis and Taylor Swift?
Nobody knows but the fact that the two teams were in the Super Bowl last season says it’s not all luck.
Heading into week 8, there’s a ton of football left to be played, which also allows for a lot of fun betting of course. Let’s take a look at the odds for the week.
5) Premier League
After dropping two games, Manchester City are no longer running away with the title. Instead, Tottenham Hotspurs are having the best year for a long time and are leading the Premier League with two points after 9 matches.
Tottenham striker Son Heung-Min and his boys are taking on Crystal Palace this week and are looking to stay hot. There’s also the derby between the two teams in Manchester, which is always important, mostly in terms of bragging rights.
Time to Place Your Bets
With all these action going on, there’s no reason not to throw down a few bets. I mean who doesn’t like making a few extra bucks by showing off your sports knowledge, am I right?
Have a great week of betting, friends!
