It’s that time of the week again when you need to take a look at what’s going on in the world of sports. Kickoffs, first pitches or punches won’t wait until you have made a decision, so get your bets in now.
Here’s what’s going on this week!
1) Boxing – Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz (August 5)
Not only has Youtube star turned boxer, Jack Paul, managed to stir things up in the MMA community for a couple of years with some world class trash talking, he’s also knocked out both Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.
UFC legend, Nate Diaz, has been in the crosshairs for a long time and now when he’s free from his UFC contract, he is ready to settle things by stepping into the boxing ring with Paul.
Can Paul get back on track after his loss to Tommy Fury or will Nate Diaz take care of business and become the UFC hero once again? Looking at the odds, I’m not sure I’ve seen such a wide spread before. Jake Paul is the favorite but the odds on Diaz stretches from 1.23 all the way up to 15.91 at Vave. Wow!
2) FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023
Things are heating up in the World Cup and it’s time for the knockout stages. The rules are as easy as they come:
- Win – You are through to the next round, the quarter finals
- Lose – It’s time to pack your bags and go home
Surprisingly enough, both Brazil and Germany failed to make it out of the group, making things highly interesting going forward. One of the bigger matches is Sweden vs USA on August 6th.
3) Rugby Union – Wales vs. England (August 5)
We’re only a month or so away from this year’s Rugby World Cup. This will of course be huge but to get in top shape for the highlight of the year, Wales and England will be clashing on the grass of the Principality Stadium in Cardiff this Saturday.
4) MotoGP – British Grand Prix (August 4-6)
Who will strike first as MotoGP returns to classic Silverstone? That’s the big question and being the first to cross the British Grand Prix finish line tomorrow is worth so much more than just the win itself – your name will end up in the history books.
5) MLB Baseball
The baseball season keeps on ticking and so far, the Baltimore Orioles and the Atlanta Braves seem to be the team to beat. If you know anything about baseball, you know it’s a lot of games left before the playoffs start. Considering it is very difficult to make it to the playoffs, there’s no time to rest and the points are getting more and more important.
Winner, Winner – What’s For Dinner?
Finding the best odds, games, fights, matches and races to bet on is a skill and when you win big, man is it worth having spent that extra time on it. In other words, drop whatever it is that you’re doing and get to work.
Good luck!
