Injuries and bad performances continue to derail NFL teams and we can already tell that it’s going to be a long season for some of them. No, not the good kind of long season that includes a visit to the Super Bowl. I’m talking about the long season where you get beaten week in and week out.
The bad performances not only frustrates the teams but they can also make you go a bit cray-cray as a bettor. Last week’s results reflect it but just like the players, us bettors need to suck it up and be better the next time around. Trust me, there are an incredible amount of games left and I’ve got new picks lined up.

Travis Kelce has not lived up to expectations so far this season
1) NFL – Week 4
This season continues to throw bettors off with some strange upsets that not a lot of people saw coming, myself including. Every season has surprises, it’s part of the game, but this one has had a lot of them and we’re only in Week 4.
Some of the topics so far has been:
- What’s going on with the Dallas Cowboys? They can’t seem to be able to stop a cold, let alone the opponent’s running game. Team Jerry Jones has been a risky bet so far.
- The Bucs were looking great but then received a proper spanking by the Broncos last week. I didn’t see that coming.
- Who could’ve predicted the injuries on the 49ers? McCaffrey, Greenlaw and now Deebo and possibly even Kittle…ouch!
- When is Travis Kelce going to play like Travis Kelce again?
Let’s look at my picks of the week.
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
Vikings vs Packers
The Minnesota Vikings are off to a smoking hot 3-0 start and the offense is looking sharp. Green Bay on the other hand were shaken when Jordan Love went down but luckily he’s reported to be back in training, although limited. I’m expecting a close game that could come down to the wire. With that said, the Vikings seem to have things figured out so far and I believe they will scoop up their 4th straight win against a tough opponent.

Denver Broncos at New York Jets
Broncos vs Jets
Both teams have shown signs of improvement and with Aaron Rodgers back with the Jets, it’s not a surprise. The Broncos did have a great game against Tampa Bay last week and are looking to keep that train going. Their passing defense is strong and could create some problems for Rodgers but his experience and home field advantage should get the Jets another win.

Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Eagles vs Buccaneers
The Eagles defense showed up against the Saints in Week 3 and even though the offense has struggled a bit, I think the birds are starting to warm up again. Baker Mayfield and his Bucs caught a surprising loss last week which might have rocked their confidence a bit. If the Eagles can continue to improve, they will secure a win against a solid NFC rival.

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars
Texans vs Jaguars
An 0-3 Jaguars will not be strong enough to stand up against a revenge filled Houston Texans. Losing 34-7 against the Vikings was not in the plans and unfortunately for the Jaguars, they will collect another loss at home.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Chiefs vs Chargers
The Chiefs are up against a depleted Chargers squad missing important players like Justin Herbert and Joey Bosa. Kansas City are undefeated so far despite not having found their groove. All wins have been close calls but I expect the defending champs to get better and better as the season continues. Losing Pacheco to a broken fibula is very unfortunate but the Chiefs will manage to pull off a 4th straight W.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens
Ravens vs Bills
This could be the game of the week. The Bills are looking as solid as ever and have yet to lose this season. Despite having shown mixed performances, the Ravens are slowly coming around and are looking to make a statement this week. Bills QB Josh Allen has thrown 7 touchdowns so far and together with Von Miller and James Cook, this might be the year we’ll get to see them in the Super Bowl.

In terms of players, it’s no surprise that Haaland has the most goals but the fact that he has 10 in only 5 games is ridiculous.
