A spot in next year’s Champions League is on the line and Newcastle needs to win in order to be able to get to that fifth position to get it. Alexander Isak is scoring every game and will be looking for that first goal of the game to help his team.

The Rangers took both games at home and are going into tonight’s game with a 2-0 series lead. They needed 5 periods before Vincent Trocheck would score in a very close game where none of the teams gave an inch.
Carolina has been one of the favorites all season long but the Rangers are looking better than they have done in years and did win the President’s Trophy as the best team in the league.
The Hurricanes NEED to win Game 3 because being down 0-3 in the series means you’re done.

Dallas had a tough time in more than one way

After being up 3-0 halfway through Game 1, everyone thought it was over. Everyone except the Colorado Avalanche. When Nathan MacKinnon tied it up early in the 3rd period, the momentum had shifted. The game went into overtime before Miles Wood ended the game after 11 minutes in period number 4.
The pressure is on Dallas tonight and they need this win. You never want to lose both home games, especially not to a freight train like the Avalanche.
