While we’re slowly gearing up for the holiday season, the sporting world does not stop and I love it. The NFL, NBA, NHL, Premier League etc are all full steam ahead but this weekend is also a massive UFC weekend in Las Vegas.
I’ve taken a look at the odds and you can see all my picks below.
Let’s go!
1) UFC 296 – Edwards vs Covington
UFC is coming back to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this weekend and it’s going to be a good one. Fans will see the return of Colby “Chaos” Covington as he is looking to take the belt from Leon “Rocky” Edwards.
While Edwards is the defending Welterweight champion, he is a quiet fighter in the sense that he doesn’t make much noise in the media. Covington on the other hand is a real character and he loves the attention from the media and fans. As over the top as he can be, love him or hate him, the guy is entertaining and will say anything to get under the skin of his opponents.
Ring Rust Comes Into Play
Will he be able to rattle Edwards enough to take away the belt? It’s a tough one. My first instinct was that Colby can do it, just because of his abilities alone. But then there’s the fact that he hasn’t fought for 1.5 years, meaning there will be ring rust. Edwards on the other hand has beaten Kamaru Usman twice.
It’s going to be a battle and Edwards is the favorite. However, because of the higher odds, I’m taking a chance on Colby ”Chaos” Covington.
I also picked the winner of two more fights.

2) NFL – Week 15
Looking back, 5 weeks ago, nobody thought the Cowboys would be able to win the NFC East over the Eagles. The Eagles got off to a great start but with 2 straight losses and 5 straight wins for the Cowboys, things are looking different and both teams are 10-3.
I think we’re looking at some tight games this weekend and despite being on a hot streak, it’s not a guarantee that the Cowboys will grab another win in Buffalo. As a matter of fact, the Bills are the favorites and they are fighting for a wild card spot. I’m not fully convinced but I picked the Cowboys because of the better odds.
Kansas City Chiefs are also on a 2 game losing skid but I think they will turn things around because they are angry from last week’s offside debacle.
In total I opted for a 6 game parlay, which is always a challenge. A fun one but a real challenge but what a rush when you win, am I right?

3) Premier League – Man City vs Crystal Palace
Manchester City has been on a tough stretch lately but managed to win their first game in 5(!) weeks last weekend. Did that get the team back on track? I’m not sure but of course it helped. Unfortunately Haaland is out with a foot injury and will most likely miss another game or two.
Even with the Norwegian super striker out of action, I believe City will take care of business against a bad Crystal Palace. I opted to put a few different bets on that particular game:

Who Wants to Be A Winner?
I always recommend being smart and to bet with your head rather than your heart. It’s easy to bet on your favorite teams but it’s not always the way to go. Do your research, look at the odds and trust your gut.
I’m looking forward to another weekend of world class sports and of course for my picks to come through.
Let’s go!
