If you are a crypto follower, I’m sure you’re aware that the markets are not as rosy and steadily climbing as they used to be.
And, that the number one rule about writing about Bitcoin is to not write about Bitcoin because it moves astonishingly fast and soon all the crypto fans will line up to tell you you’ve got the whole story wrong.
But write about it we must.
Because the last couple of months has been catastrophic for the matriarch of cryptocurrencies, even by Bitcoin standards.
And, even though it is a topic often side-stepped by crypto casinos, there’s no other way to address the elephant in the room than to ask…..
Is it still worth playing with Bitcoin at online casinos?
What’s Happening?
First, we need to understand why Bitcoin is at its lowest value in 18 months, and the answer is more straightforward than you think.
According to experts, it’s not only the crypto market that doesn’t look peachy but rather the broader global climate that is not looking good. Living costs are rising, interest rates are biting, inflation is soaring and recession is looming. (Now that sounds depressing!)
And, because of this, big-gun investors are less free with their money and people like you and me, the ordinary spenders, have a lot less to invest in anything, full stop.
Add the volatility and unpredictability of cryptocurrencies to this scenario and I’m sure you’ll understand that investing in Bitcoin is way too much of a risk in these times.
But.
You need to remember, that’s exactly how Bitcoin came about. It was launched in 2008, shortly after the Great Financial Crisis/Meltdown so what I’m trying to say is that things change fast when it comes to investments and that it’s not only Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that are bearing the brunt of tough times.
It still leaves us with the big question….
Should I still play Bitcoin Slots, or should I rather opt for other cryptocurrencies or maybe even FIAT?
I’m assuming that you now understand that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies aren’t doomed and that times will soon change, and that it makes no difference whether you play with Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, or FIAT, except for the fact that Bitcoin slots have far more perks.
Let’s run through them.
1. Enhanced Privacy and Security
When you make a deposit at a crypto casino, you don’t need to provide any personal information which means that although the transactions are accessible to anyone, because it is recorded on a public distributed ledger (the blockchain), your personal information is encrypted and hidden.
This means that you have the ultimate luxury of privacy when you sign-up, deposit, and play Bitcoin slots as there is no indication that you are making the transactions.
2. Bitcoin Deposits are Easy Fast
For some reason, people think Bitcoin deposits are hard to make. It’s not. You have two options – using an exchange (which works the same as traditional online banking) or you can buy crypto with your credit card directly at crypto casinos like Bitstarz.
Deposits and withdrawals are also instant which means you don’t need to wait up to 3 working days for funds to clear like when you’re transacting in FIAT, and the transaction fees are minimal.
Another perk is that the minimum deposit requirements are extremely low and some casinos, like BC.GAME, have no minimum deposit or withdrawal requirement at all.
3. Smarter Bonuses and Promotions
Crypto Casinos have a different take on bonuses and promotions which, in my opinion, is a good thing.
Although some, like 7Bit Casino, will still offer you a phat welcome bonus, Bitcoin Casinos are beginning to move away from these bonuses (with high wagering requirements) and are instead offering more realistic and lucrative ways to fatten up your wallet.
BSpin gives away free crypto, FortuneJack has a huge up to 45% cashback bonus, and TrueFlip gives you lottery tickets (to win up to 10 BTC) for simply playing Bitcoin slots.
And, these are only a few. If you’d like to know more, go check out my bonus page. I’m sure you’ll agree that bonuses at crypto casinos are not only more rewarding but by far more interesting and engaging.
4. In-house Games
There’s no other way of putting it – Crypto Casinos are lightyears ahead of their FIAT peers. The new (maybe not so new) trend is in-house games, developed by the casino itself. And, they are not only awesome, but they generally have a seriously low house edge (+- 1%) plus they are provably fair.
Minimum bets are also usually very small plus the games are very easy to play. Stake.com has about 18 (Dragon Tower is my favorite), Crypto.Games only have originals and I highly recommend the BitDice Original, Snatch.
5. In-house Tokens and Coins
Not many players know this but a couple of crypto casinos have launched their very own cryptocurrency and/or tokens. Off the top of my head, I can think of Fairspin and TrueFlip but the one that has mastered this concept with perfection is undoubtedly BC.GAME.
You’ll receive 99999.0000 JB Tokens when you sign up to use exclusively on their BC.GAME original titles and although it’s not withdrawable, it’s almost like no deposit-free spins for eternity.
What’s even more impressive is their BCD cryptocurrency which can be withdrawn and exchanged for other currencies but if you hold onto it, they’ll give you a 10% annual return fee.
The Verdict
I’m sure you’ll agree, considering all these facts, that it’s still worth it to play with Bitcoin, even compared to other cryptocurrencies because Bitcoin has always been and still is the most trusted cryptocurrency out there.
Today Bitcoin trades are 24035,70 against the USD and the second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, stands at 1724,14. As you can see, Bitcoin simply towers above the rest.
And, if you were considering falling back on FIAT slots, I’m sure you’ve changed your mind after weighing up all the options because crypto casinos and Bitcoin, in general, are just far better.
Your deposits and withdrawals are fast and easy, your privacy is super secure, you’ll get more realistic, exciting, and rewarding promotions, be able to play in-house games with a really low house edge and if you want, you can hold on to coins like BCD that will undoubtedly see a sharp rise in value in the near future.
