At any given time, you could see a Colossal Symbol showing up to have some fun. These can vary between a bigger 3×3 symbol or up to four 2×2 symbols. I’m not sure how much they actually affect the game but you have to admit that they look cool and bring a certain pizzazz.

You could see a cluster of 5-10 Wilds be added to your grid. I don’t think I ever saw that many, at least not at ones, while I played. The Spotlight Wilds are in play during Free Spins as well.
They have a fancy name but I can’t be certain how effective they are.

At first I felt robbed when I landed 3 golden disco ball scatters but didn’t trigger any Free Spins. My preference is for all games to only require 3 but for some reason certain providers insist on needing 4 or more, which honestly can feel a bit off putting at times.

Boogie-Boom – Pass or Play?
This one is interesting but maybe not in the way you think. Without any doubt, Boogie-Boom is a great looking slot. Bright colors and a lively vibe go a long way and it’s more than I can say about many of the other games I review. The symbols are fun as well and everything is on point with the theme.
I’m also happy to say that the Bonus Round was a positive experience and a happy surprise. Even the Cascading Reels added some excitement for once.
However, my issue is that until I managed to trigger the Free Spins, I felt like this slot is just not any fun. Maybe it’s my own fault for getting my hopes up when I first saw the theme, followed by the opening scene.
My gut feeling was – This is not the kind of party I was hoping for. That was also my verdict up until this very second. However, I feel torn because the Bonus Round can make or break your own experience and with a bit of luck, this could be a new favorite for some of you.
Final answer? It’s going to have to be a pass for me but if you’re looking for a different kind of theme and a change of scenery, I think you should give it a go and see how you feel.
