Let me be clear, it’s obviously not the original game but the slot does share the name. The provider trying to bring it back and show us something different, for which I applaud the initiative, is of course Nolimit City. Even if I’ve never been a skater, I was glad to see a new slot theme and Nolimit deserves credit for trying something new. I’m sure there are a ton of skaters out there that will enjoy playing Skate or Die and reminisce about the good old days.
The graphics are definitely street enough and the voice overs and comments are perfect for a game like this. There are also a good amount of features in play and some of them are different from what I’ve seen before which is great. I mean, who thinks about sending a guy in a wheelchair off a cliff?
I didn’t have a successful run while playing and it took me quite a while before I finally managed to trigger some Face Plant Spins.
Overall, this is a fun game, especially if you have any kind of skating experience from growing up. I think players will find their way to Skate or Die and will be happy with it.
