What are NFTs?

Most NFTs are part of the Ethereum blockchain, the digital ledger of the Ethereum cryptocurrency which also supports NFT functionality. An NFT can have only one owner at a time, which is accomplished through a unique ID and metadata that cannot be replicated. One of the most famous NFTs is an artwork from a graphic designer called Beeple, which sold for a record-breaking $69.3 million at a Christie’s auction earlier this year.
Why are CryptoPunk NFTs so special?
CryptoPunks is an Ethereum-based NFT project which started out in 2017, making the range of artworks in the collection some of the earliest examples of NFT collectibles and forming the foundations of what NFTs are today.
These CryptoPunk NFTs were created by Larva Labs, a mobile software company based in New York. There are 10,000 CryptoPunk NFTs in the range, some maintaining multi-million dollar values.

The CryptoPunks, in particular, are a set of randomly generated pixel-based avatars which come in an array of designs, such as people, zombies, aliens, and even apes. Evolution’s NFT investment
NFTs are now making a debut into the world of online gambling with Red Tiger’s latest release, NFT Megaways slot. Evolution has purchased four CryptoPunks to the value of $162,000 to be showcased as symbols in the world’s first slot game to integrate NFTs.
The game was released in early September and was inspired by the growing interest in cryptocurrencies and the trading of unique, digital-only assets. This original online slot game sees Evolution’s four CryptoPunks coming together to multiply the value of cash prizes offered to players in the game.

The aim of the game? It’s simple! Get the punks – win the cash! The CryptoPunks act as Wild symbols that can land only on the CryptoPunks Bar and will substitute for all paying symbols. When a CryptoPunk lands on this bar and substitutes in a winning combination with low-paying symbols, the CryptoPunk will collect the symbols.
The CryptoPunk’s multiplier will then increase by 1x for each low-paying symbol collected. The CryptoPunks multiplier can increase up to 30x, and up to two Crypto Punks can land in the same spin. If two CryptoPunks participate in the same winning combo, their multipliers are multiplied by each other.
