Great news for all crypto fans in the U.S. as Bitcoin ATM network leader, Bitcoin Depot, recently revealed its plan to add an additional 115 brand new Bitcoin ATMs across 24 states, resulting in their total now surpassing 2,000 kiosks worldwide.
The rapidly increasing mainstream interest in cryptocurrency has naturally led to a higher demand of Bitcoin ATMs and having already doubled their machines over the last 6 months, Bitcoin Depot is now increasing its presence on the market.
Immediate Buying Power
Continuing its mission to provide easy and convenient access to cryptocurrency transactions for all, with this latest step, a number of states will now be able to offer an increased number of kiosks. This will be of great help, allowing people to exchange cryptocurrency into digital cashing, allowing for simple, in-person exchanges that give users immediate buying power.
“Cryptocurrency offers a lot of opportunities for people that don’t have access to traditional financial services, like banks,” said the Bitcoin Depot President and CEO, Brandon Mintz.”
Spread Out Across 24 States
Over the next few weeks, you will be able to enjoy as many as 115 Bitcoin ATMs spread out across 24 states, some of which will receive multiple machines.
The lucky ones being:
– 14 New kiosks will be placed in Alabama
– 13 New kiosks will be placed in Minnesota
– 12 New kiosks will be placed in Florida
– 12 New kiosks will be placed in California
With these in place, more people will be able to essentially self-bank through the digital wallet on your phone. If you want to turn your cash into a crypto currency and use it to pay your bills, make transfers or even invest, you will be able to do so with the help of these new Bitcoin ATMs.
The Atlanta based company offers multiple cryptocurrencies and the ones being available at these kiosks are Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum.
More Than 83% of the World’s Total
As the number of Bitcoin ATMs keep rising, it was only in January of 2018 where you would find 2,342 machines across the United States. Today, Americans have access to 14,397 machines, which accounts for more than 83% of the world’s total, according to Coin ATM Radar.
An Excellent Opportunity
Considering Las Vegas and other gambling hot spots have not yet fully recovered due to the pandemic, adding more Bitcoin ATMs all across the country will not only make using and dealing with cryptocurrency easier for mainstream America, it also provides an excellent opportunity for players to make the transition from land-based casinos to crypto-gambling sites.
