The Martingale system is one of the most well known and most popular strategies to use. Originated in 18th century France, it’s been around for a long time and some players swear by it.

Your Next Bet
You begin betting with a single unit and work your way through the sequence until you win. After every loss, your next bet should be the size of the previous two numbers combined.
If you win your first bet, you start over. Should you win further down the line, you move back two numbers and continue following the sequence.
Golden Rule
Remember the golden rule of Fibonacci – each number is the sum of the previous two numbers.

3) Labouchere
There are other names for this system but its original name is Labouchere. The point here is for the player to make a decision beforehand about how much you would like to win. Strange? I know, but bear with me.
Let’s say you want to win €10. You can then break this down however you want as long as it adds up to 10.
1 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 10
With every bet, you bet the amount equal to the sum of the first and last numbers on the list, in this case you would bet 1+2=3.
Should you lose, you add the lost amount to the end of the list.
1 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 3
If your first bet led to a win, you will instead delete one the first and last number
2 + 3 + 2
Continue to do this until all numbers are deleted and when that’s the case, voilá – you will have your desired €10 in your pocket!

4) D’Alembert
If you don’t like high stake Roulette, perhaps D’Alembert should be your top pick as it is all about small adjustments. This is why it is one of the safest systems to use.
The bottom line is that you pick a starting bet. If it’s a loss, you will increase your bet by one. If it’s a win, then you will decrease your next bet by one. The idea behind it is that once you have as many wins as you do losses, you will have made a profit.
Let’s say your initial bet is €5, this is what it would look like:

- Bet €6 and lose

- Bet €6 and win
- Bet €5 and lose
- Bet €6 and win
That’s 4 wins and 4 losses, so let’s look at the math:
0 – €5 – €6 + €7 – €6 + €7 + €6 – €5 + €6 = €4
So, in the end, if the number of wins and losses are the same, you will make a profit.

5) Andrucci
Are you ready for more? Good, because it’s time to take things up a notch and what better way to do that than by introducing the Andrucci system. A strategy completely different from the ones above.
The Andrucci requires you to observe the Roulette wheel for about 30-35 spins, while recording the results. This will give you an idea of what numbers come up most often. Simply place your bet on the hottest number and hope for the best.

If you remember the with the Martingale, you double your bet every time you lose. Well, with Paroli, you do the exact opposite while still sticking to even-money bets.
When you lose, stick to the same bet size, even if you lose several spins in a row.

A win on the other hand, means you should double your stake and continue to play. The goal is to double your bet for three spins in a row. When that happens, it’s time to reset your bet to its original size.

All of these strategies seem good to me, except maybe the Andrucci. That’s a lot of preparation and in the end, I’m there to have fun.
If the systems are so popular, why doesn’t everyone use them? Because they are all far from fool-proof. You can’t forget that Roulette is a random game which you don’t have any power over. With that said, I’m sure they can help you be successful from time to time.
Other things that come into play is that you need to know when it’s time to walk away, regardless of how much you have won or lost. That’s where a lot of players go wrong and end up in trouble.
