If you thought you had seen the last of Elvis Frog, think again. He is back and bringing some new fun features with him.
Elvis Frog Trueways – BGaming
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, The King is back on the Las Vegas Strip. I sincerely doubt BGaming knew what an impact their green monster would have on the slot market before the Elvis Frog in Vegas slot was released into the world back in 2020.
Considering the success of the first game and Aloha King Elvis last year, another sequel was expected.
The official release date isn’t until October 20th but thanks to an exclusive release, you can already play the game at BitStarz.
So, without further ado… here is Elvis Frog TrueWays!
This time he’s not just bringing the glitz and glamor of Sin City, there are also the new features like the TrueWays mechanics (262,144 paylines) and Lightning.
You can get ready for a show with a 96.79% RTP, high volatility and a 5,000x max multiplier.
I would say TrueWays is just another name for Megaways because it’s basically the same thing. It’s nice to see a lot more paylines in action so whether you see Elvis in full scale or mixed in among many other symbols doesn’t matter, as long as you win. I’m pretty sure you agree, right?
Double Your Chances
On your left side, there is a button that says “Chance x2 to Win”. If you activate this button, it will increase your bet size but also double your chances of winning and getting to the bonus round.
I’ve always been a fan of this particular feature and tend to always have it activated.
Above the 2x-button, you will find the Buy Bonus version. The fact is that it will give you two options. Either you can go with the Free Spins or you take door number two and take a swing at Coins Respin.
I wanted to try both in order to find out which one I like the best.
Depending on how many scatters you land, you will get 12, 15 or 20 Free Spins. I ended up at the bottom of the totem pole and was given 12 spins.
Your Free Spins can be re-triggered during the bonus round, which is nice.
Every wild will come with a multiplier here of either 2x,3x or 5x. The total multiplier will be added up and will show above the reels.
Where Are My Wins?
I had no success during Free Spins or at least that’s how it felt. Barely any wins and because your high hopes going into the bonus round get squashed right away, of course you’ll leave with a sour taste in your mouth.
Luckily there was still the Coin Respin feature. Fingers crossed that goes better.
How to Win a Jackpot
Of course there should be jackpots in Las Vegas and you will find them in the Coin Respin feature. As a matter of fact there are three of them, Mini, Major and Mega.
The way to get them is via the corresponding symbols (coins). If you can fill all 48 positions, you will be taking the Mega Jackpot for a spin around the dancefloor.
When it’s time to face Coin Respin you will only deal with golden coin symbols. In the base game, you need at least 6 of them to trigger the feature but I took the shortcut and paid for it.
All coins bring a value of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 100x your bet.
You will start off with 3 respins and whenever you land another coin, the count will reset and you can keep going until you run out of spins.
Another symbol that shows up from time to time is the lightning bolt. It can appear anywhere and when it does, it will split a random symbol in half, leaving you with double symbols.
Fill the Whole Grid
I mean, I’ve played a ton of Hold & Win features before and never been close to filling all positions. Not until today that is. I have to admit that I felt pretty proud of my accomplishment and expected a massive payout from it.
Elvis Let Me Down
You can imagine my surprise when Elvis pops up and gives me a Fabulous Win of €14.60 only. I know it’s not a bad win but in my head it would be bigger.
Since there are jackpots in play, filling the grid will usually result in the biggest Jackpot. The rules do state that if all 48 positions are filled, the Mega Jackpot would be mine.
As you can see, I did fill them all but unfortunately some of them are still big, leaving a few positions unfilled underneath. Because of this, I only filled 43 sports, not 48.
Come on, what are the odds, right?
He Still Got It
To be honest I didn’t expect anything else and the fact remains, Elvis still got it. The Elvis Frog is becoming a dynasty and BGaming is laughing all the way to the bank.
Who knew it was as simple as throwing an Elvis jumpsuit on Kermit and boom – you have a winner!
I’m already looking forward to the next one but I will be enjoying Elvis TrueWays for a while and so should you.
