Narrowing down the picks this week isn’t easy considering all that’s going on. NBA and NHL playoffs are at their peak and world class tennis is being played in the French Open. I don’t think a lot of people saw Borussia Dortmund making it this far but I’m sure they absolutely love being the underdog. Will it be enough to go all the way? My bet is on Real Madrid.

Islam Makhachev is putting the Lightweight championship belt on the line against Dustin Poirier. Makhachev is favored by most and he is incredibly tough. At the same time, this could actually be Poirier’s last fight. He’s hinted about getting close to retiring before and I think this could be it if he was to lose.
There’s no question he will do everything possible to finally get that belt but I think it’ll be too hard unfortunately.

Here’s a fight that should be even wilder than the first one. I expect Strickland vs Costa to be a slug fest since none of them like to fight on the ground. In other words it should be a fist throwing spectacle that you don’t want to miss.
The press conference alone is always a bit nuts with Strickland so who knows what will happen this time. One thing is for sure, Paulo Costa will bring his gallon of Secret Juice and we’ll all be wondering what’s in it.
Strickland last fought in January and Costa in February so timewise both of them should be in good shape. Do I believe Sean Strickland will be able to outbox Costa? Yes, I do.
